Chemical Feed Pumps

Bredel SPX10 mini hose pumps

  • Direct-coupled design, 30% smaller footprint
  • Improved choice of flanges, threaded inserts or sanitary connectors
  • Inner hose diameter 3/8" (10mm)
  • Minimum starting torque 250 in lbs (47 Nm)
  • Capacity per revolution 0.0058 gal (0.022 liter)
  • Maximum discharge pressure 110psi, (7.5 bar)
  • Maximum continuous flow rate 0.46 gpm (105 liter/hour)
  • Maximum intermittent flow rate 0.66 gpm (150 liter/hour)
  • Two-year warranty

Intermittent duty allows a maximum of two hours operation followed by a minimum one hour stop.

New Direct-coupled design, with a unique leak zone to protect your drive. Rotor fully supported on its own two bearings which means no coupling, no alignment and no heavy-duty baseplate - 30% smaller footprint, all fasteners stainless steel - resulting in less installation time, less maintenance and lower costs.

Low noise level, 100% positive flow (no slip), Metering pump accuracy: +/- 1%

Bredel SPX15 mini hose pumps

  • Direct-coupled design, 30% smaller footprint
  • Improved choice of flanges, threaded inserts or sanitary connectors
  • Inner hose diameter 5/8" (15mm)
  • Minimum starting torque 500 in lbs (60 Nm)
  • Capacity per revolution 0.022 gal (0.083 liter)Maximum discharge pressure 110 psi (7.5 bar)
  • Maximum continuous flow rate 1.7 gpm (375 liter/hour)
  • Maximum intermittent flow rate 2.3 gpm (525 liter/hour)
  • Two-year warranty

SP-10 & SP-15 Peristaltic Pumps

Water treating chemicals, fed in slurry form, have long presented pumping problems.  Lime slurry, as used in traditional systems, has been particularly difficult.  For years, the diaphragm type feeder pump was felt to be the best feeding slurries.  The addition of the flushing manifold minimized maintenance.  Pump check valve problems were reduced but not eliminated.

With peristaltic pumping, no check valves are necessary.  The fluid is contained inside  a tube or hose held in a circular housing.  Pumping action occurs when the hose is squeezed against the housing and the rotor.  This repetitive flexure keeps the hose from clogging with slurry buildup.  The absence of check valves means that the highest maintenance aspect of feeding chemical slurries is eliminated.   Our Series 10 pumps feature a special patented reinforced hose for long life.  Hose and rotor run in a special lubricant bath.

Lyons Filter Peristalic Pump
·        No check valves to clog or stick:  less down time for maintenance
     ·         Accurate, steady feed rates:  less time needed for measuring & adjusting feed
           rates.
Handles heavier slurries:  up to 25% lime slurry means longer run times,
           smaller batch tanks.

·                  Rugged mounting:  vertical motor on angle type speed reducer drives pump through
protected coupling.  DC controller is mounted and pre-wired to the motor.  It takes
little space and is easy to install and service.

       Available Pump Models
Series SP-10 flow rates up to 26 GPH
Series SP-15 flow rates up to 45 GPH

Individual replacement parts and discharge tube flushing manifold is available.
