Chemical Feed Pumps
Eccentric Peristaltic Pumps

Unique Advantages of Eccentric Pumps:
  • A single hose compression per cycle extends hose life
  • More flow per revolution than conventional designs
  • Hose materials: NR, Buna (Nitrile), EPDM, Neoprene™, Hypalon™, Viton™, UHMW PE, Food Grade and others.
  • Independently supported pump shaft on B-10 10 million-hour bearings
  • Buffer zone between the pump and gearbox protects the drive and bearings
  • Compact integral drive and motor – can run at speeds as low as 1 rpm
  • Unique FDA approved, DST™ Synthetic Lubricant provides maximum hose life
  • Pump & Hose technology “Made in America”

Performance Benefits:

  • Wider range of operating speeds – both high and low rpm
  • Dry running / self-priming / sealless
  • Creates high vacuum for suction lift applications
  • Pumps in both directions
  • Runs 8°F to 10°F cooler by design than sliding shoe pumps
  • Smooth passage through the pump – no checks or obstructions
  • Relatively high discharge pressures
  • Accurate flow for metering applications
  • Pumps two phase flow easily
  • Handles shear sensitive and abrasive fluids
  • Compact footprint

SP-10 & SP-15 Peristaltic Pumps

Water treating chemicals, fed in slurry form, have long presented pumping problems.  Lime slurry, as used in traditional systems, has been particularly difficult.  For years, the diaphragm type feeder pump was felt to be the best feeding slurries.  The addition of the flushing manifold minimized maintenance.  Pump check valve problems were reduced but not eliminated.

With peristaltic pumping, no check valves are necessary.  The fluid is contained inside  a tube or hose held in a circular housing.  Pumping action occurs when the hose is squeezed against the housing and the rotor.  This repetitive flexure keeps the hose from clogging with slurry buildup.  The absence of check valves means that the highest maintenance aspect of feeding chemical slurries is eliminated.   Our Series 10 pumps feature a special patented reinforced hose for long life.  Hose and rotor run in a special lubricant bath.

Lyons Filter Peristalic Pump
·        No check valves to clog or stick:  less down time for maintenance
     ·         Accurate, steady feed rates:  less time needed for measuring & adjusting feed
           rates.
Handles heavier slurries:  up to 25% lime slurry means longer run times,
           smaller batch tanks.

·                  Rugged mounting:  vertical motor on angle type speed reducer drives pump through
protected coupling.  DC controller is mounted and pre-wired to the motor.  It takes
little space and is easy to install and service.

       Available Pump Models
Series SP-10 flow rates up to 26 GPH
Series SP-15 flow rates up to 45 GPH

Individual replacement parts and discharge tube flushing manifold is available.
